Investing in Portuguese Culture can be done in two ways

Artistic Production Support

Preservation of Cultural Heritage

Investment in the artistic production of a film or musical.

Donation to an eligible arts foundation or national heritage foundation.

Golden Visa: Capital Increase

Foreign businesspeople and investors can establish or invest in an existing Portuguese company. This investment may involve the creation of new jobs.

There are two options for this category:

• Transfer of capital in an amount equal to or greater than 500,000 (euro), intended for the establishment of a commercial company with headquarters in national territory, combined with the creation of five permanent jobs for a minimum period of three years.

• Reinforcement of share capital by €500,000.00 of a commercial company with headquarters in national territory, already constituted, with the creation of at least five permanent jobs or maintenance of at least ten jobs, with a minimum of five permanent, and for a minimum period of three years.

Golden Visa: Venture Capital Fund

Transfer of capital in a value equal to or greater than €500,000.00. Intended for the acquisition of parts of non-real estate collective assets of investment organizations, which are constituted under Portuguese legislation, whose maturity, at the time of investment, is at least five years and at least 60% of the value of the investments is made in comercial companies based in national territory.
